The Romanian museums have been set up at the beginning of the XIXth century, being the depositary of the Romania's cultural patrimony.
Memory of these regions from which "nothing is missing in order to be a complex and multilateral unit of the faces and gifts that compose it" (Dumitru Staniloaie), the exhibits of these museums give relevance to the facts and events that took place here over the time, as well to the personalities that have participated to them.
The main sections are archeology, history from Paleolithic till the Modern times, town history, art gallery, memorial houses.

"Museums from Romania" is presenting, interactively and in multimedia format (text, images, audio explanations), information related to the exhibits from Romanian museums.
It is a useful instrument to enhance and to strengthen the notions about Romania's history, archeology, natural sciences, literature, geography, urban and rural architecture, religion, ethnography, folklore.
