The user has access to the following interactive multimedia facilities:

• Region selection from the map: the regions are Muntenia, Oltenia, Dobrogea, Moldova, Transilvania; after the selection of the region, in the windows will be displayed scenes that contain images representing the museums from the area; in order to visit the desired museum, it must be selected the image of the museum, and, next the images corresponding to the museums' themes;
• Function selection <Index>: in this case the museums' list is displayed, the user selects the desired museum and in the windows will be displayed scenes with images representing the museums;
• The navigation arrows: allow the navigation between the scenes (parent, previous and next) from a theme.

A special case for the museums' presentation is the function"museum visit", activated by the <museum visit>; option selection; in this case, images accompanied by audio explanation, of the museum sections, are automatically run; the virtual visitor can not change the visit path; the end of the visit is made by the selection of one of the <Index> or <Start>options;

The scenes have audio explanations that start automatically as the image is displayed. The CD has a synchronizing function of the images with the audio explanations (the images are marked with their size, when are referred).

Necessary equipment

The user must have a Pentium II 233MHz computer with 64Mb RAM, sound card, CD-ROM reader, speakers, Windows 98 OS or higher.
