       "Museums from istorical regions of Romania" site represents a virtual visit amongst romanian history. The site has been realised by National Institute for Research and Development, ICI Bucharest along with the following national and regional museums: Bucharest’s Museum; History and Arheolohy Museum, Ploiesti; County Museum, Pitesti; County Museum, Braila; County Museum, Buzau; Oltenia’s Museum; Gorj County Museum, Târgu Jiu; County Museum, Botosani; National Museums Center, Iasi; Museums Center, Neamt; National Union Museum, Alba Iulia; Tara Crisurilor’s Museum, Bihor; County Museum, Bistrita Nasaud; Maramures County Museum, Satu Mare; Museums Center Mures; Astra Museum Sibiu; “Bruckental” History Museum, Sibiu; Transilvania’s National History Museum, Cluj; County Museum, Satu Mare; History and Arheolohy Museum, Constanta; Moldova’s National History Museum, Chisinau;
      The site contains over 600 images and 300 text pages.

           Containing 2000 images and 300 text pages, presented in 25 hours of audio explanations, the multimedia CD „Museums from Romania” makes possible a „virtual visit” in the country’s history, having a contribution to Romania’s past knowledge. The cd has been realised by National Institute for Research and Development, ICI Bucharest along with the museums comprised in the above mentioned list at wich the following museums are added: Banat's Museum; Cotroceni Palace; Grigore Antipa’s Natural History Museum; Queen Mary’s Palace, Balcic.
     It is a useful instrument to enhance and to strengthen the notions about Romania’s history, archeology, natural sciences, literature, geography, urban and rural architecture, religion, ethnography, folklore etc. The CD makes easer and more attractive the information assimilation, also making the students familiar with the computer use in the teaching-educative process.
