Iosif Iser (1881-1958, born in Bucharest). Romanian painter and drawing artist. His expressive and vigorous drawing is dominant both in his graphics (the series of portraits of Romanian intellectuals, anti-monarchic drawings), and in his painting untill the year 1920. After this date, his painting evoluated towards more luminous chromatic harmonies.

He is the author of some monumental compositions, with an exotic trend ("Clown and Dancer", "Nude", "Toledo", "Self-Portrait").
