Nicolae Darascu (1883-1958, born in Giurgiu). Romanian painter. He was influenced by Impressionism and neo-impressionism. He also painted water-colours. His landscapes are characterized by the width of vision ("The Calea Victoriei Boulevard, on a Rainy Day", "Venetian Palace", "Landscape from the Delta").
