"Bellu" collection is in an old Romanian house, folk architecture monument from the 19th century, which lies in a very picturesque location.
Bellu family owned the house. The family members were known as people of culture and art objects, coins and books collectors. In 1926 Alexandru Bellu donates the whole ensemble of buildings, park, vineyards to the Romanian Academy.
Today is kept only the old house restored many times.
