The house "Hagi Prodan", built around 1975 by a local merchant was declared national architecture monument in 1955.

Starting with 1985 the house hosts the permanent exhibition "Nichita Stanescu", an important testimony of the poet life and literary creation. The exhibition contains poetry volumes, documents, legal document, photos, an interesting coin and medal collection, as well as personal objects of the poet donated, generously, to the museum by his family and friends.
