In 1967, December 17, was founded the Memorial Museum "Cezar Petrescu" in the house were the writer lived from 1937 till his death. In 1937 he was 45 years old and had published over 20 volumes and have had a very rich journalistic activity.

The house is built in the style of the Romanian city houses from the first decades of the 20th century. In it is a rich collection of old carpets, Romanian ceramics, rustic furniture, paintings, statues, over 10.000 volumes and reviews, all donated by the writer’s family. |
The museum shows the valuing of the writer for the folk art and his great passion for the book.
