Nicolae Iorga was one of the most important scholars of Romania. His entire work reviled the originality of the Romanian civilization and culture, the features of our people in European context.

The house he bought 1910 – today the "Nicolae Iorga" Memorial Museum – was, for 3 decades, a halting place for many scientific, cultural personalities, Romanian and foreign, who have honored the Popular University, "Neamul Romanesc" printing house, as well as many cultural activities organized by the scholar in Valeni de Munte. |
In the following years the restoration works of this building will end and a veritable "complex of museum" will be organized in the memory of the great Nicolae Iorga.
